Indeed, in this interdisciplinary project linking visual arts, French, and Italian, and with the dedicated support of their teachers, the 8th-grade students in the bilingual classes had the opportunity to participate in a workshop led by Robin Summa, author, director, and mask maker, in preparation for an end-of-year performance. The article recounts the stages of this creative project, from the creation of their own Commedia dell'arte masks to the embodiment of iconic characters, guided by Robin Summa. This interactive workshop allowed the students to develop their creativity and their understanding of Italian theater.
