Maude Lemay

Maude Lemay is a young woman from Quebec, born on 27 August 1996, with a relatively atypical background.

After completing her degree in Psychology in Quebec, she went on to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Art Therapy, a discipline that combines her passion for the visual arts with her interest in therapeutic and psychological aspects. She has a particular interest in the therapeutic aspects of the mask, exploring the human psyche through this symbolic object.

Maude is actively involved in cultural mediation activities, particularly through the practice of mandala, a profound and meditative form of artistic expression. She devotes part of her time to accompanying women who are victims of domestic violence. 

Since the beginning of April 2024, Maude has been on a two-month work placement creating masks at the ‘La Maschere è Libertà’ boutique in Naples.
